Meet The Dissertation Dr.

I’m Dr. Christopher Sclafani, an award-winning speaker, professor, researcher, student success expert, and passionate educator committed to helping students turn their academic goals into accomplishments.

My journey through education is a major part of why I do this work. I went from IEP to Ph.D., and that experience taught me that your starting point does not determine your finish line. I know firsthand what it means to navigate challenges, overcome doubt, find your voice, and continue moving forward when the path to the doctorate feels overwhelming.

As The Dissertation Dr., I help doctoral students navigate the dissertation process with clarity, confidence, strategy, and accountability. From developing a research topic and refining research questions to writing, methodology, revisions, and defense preparation, I provide personalized coaching designed to meet doctoral students where they are and help them move forward.

I believe every doctoral student deserves access to knowledgeable, compassionate, and practical support. Your dissertation should not be the reason you stop short of becoming Dr.
